Revenge pornography has always been a major problem and was first established as a crime in the Greek Criminal Code in 2022 with the passing of Law no. 4947/23 - 6 - 2022 with article 38 of which article 346 was added to the Criminal Code. This addition is considered of high importance as until then, there was no other article of the Criminal Code clearly establishing the crime of revenge pornography. Thanks to the addition of the article 346 CC, the victims are no longer defenseless and unprotected due to the legislative vacuum, that existed the previous years. Victims should not be afraid to seek help. Unfortunately, due to the phenomenon of “victim blaming” they might feel hesitant to proceed further, which is why when they seek legal help, not only should we advise them legally but also encourage them not to fear the offender and the public outcry, as they are not at all responsible for the harm caused to them. . #LegalAdvice #LawFirm #LegalServices #Litigation #LegalInsights #Greece

If #ESG has not yet hit the board agenda, it will…and it will be sooner rather than later. The advent of #CSRD is now seeing more companies caputured by CSRD rolling out their ESG frameworks, and having a domino effect even on companies not within scope of CSRD. MGA’s voluntary ESG code is now providing gaming companies not directly falling under CSRD, a framework to be prepared for this domino effect, whilst also publicly demonstrating that they embraced ESG as a way of being. This brief article highlights what MGA’s voluntary code is all about.
